“I have given My Heart as a sensible object of My great love for man, and I give My Face as a sensible object of My Sorrow for the sins of man. I desire that it be honoured by a special feast on Tuesday in Quinquagesima (Shrove Tuesday, the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday). The feast will be preceded by a novena in which the faithful make reparation with Me, uniting themselves with My sorrow.” - Jesus to Bl. Maria Pierina in 1938.

This is a universally ignored request that Jesus promises is the remedy to all modern evils. A Mass of the Holy Face was composed in 1910, but the Feast was never established for the Universal Church.  

“Is there anyone among you who would give a stone to his son if he asks for bread, or hand him a snake if he asks for a fish? If you then, despite your evil nature, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:9-11)
